What type of computer do I need?
While there are no stringent requirements as to what kind of computer you
should be using to navigate the by-products.com website, we recommend the following
system as being "minimum" yet effective: Pentium processor or equivalent, 133Mhz,
32 Megs RAM, 28.8 Kbps modem connection. More powerful computers with faster Internet
connections can, of course, navigate the site more efficiently, but the above
system should perform adequately to successfully manage online business.

The site seems slow. What can I do?
Perceived site performance may be affected by using older browsers, slower
modem speeds, or certain computer systems. There is no need to purchase a brand
new computer to navigate our site, though the specifications stated above regarding
system requirements are a good base from which to start. A 56.6 Kbps modem is the industry-standard
and can easily be added to most PCs, regardless of their age. Upgrading
modem speed is one of the easiest ways to enhance your online experience. Also,
The Jacobsen Publishing Company will continue to improve and upgrade the quality of
the website through software innovations and new product development.

My browser displays outdated information. What can I do?
From time to time, your browser may display "old" web pages that have been stored in cache. If you have Internet Explorer, follow these steps to get rid of these "old" pages:
1. Click on the "Tools" menu of your browser 2. Select "Internet Options" 3. In the "Temporary Internet Files" section of the next window, click the "Delete Files" button 4. Check "Delete All Offline Content" 5. Click "OK" 6. Click the "Settings" button 7. Select "Automatically" check for new versions of stored pages 8. Click "OK" 9. Click "OK"
The next time you visit By-Products.com, your browser will display the current day's page. Be sure to keep the number of days that your browser keeps pages in "History" to a minimum. This will lessen the chance that you will see "old" pages in the future. TOP
